The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) organized the “Choose Yours” event, bringing together business actors and policy makers.

The purpose of the event was to include local products in the menus of hotels and restaurants, as well as in promotional policies for foreign tourists.

The event was opened by Mrs. Laura Saro, Executive Director of AIDA, who emphasized the quality of local products and their potential, stating that AIDA is the unique window where business can be directed for any need. Mrs. Saro also presented to the attendees the initiatives that AIDA will undertake in the future to support businesses.

Present at the event to introduce their initiatives were Mr. Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Mrs. Mirela Kumbaro, Minister of Tourism and Environment and Mr. Enio Civici, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Mr. Rigers Kacorri and Mrs. Silvana Subashi presented the offer of local producers operating in two important sectors, such as wine and olive oil.
