AIDA participated in the Joint Working Group on Investment for the Western Balkans Region, held in Budva, Montenegro.

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) participated in the Joint Working Group on Investment for the Western Balkans Region, held in Budva, Montenegro, on May 28, 2024. This meeting was organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), with the participation of representatives from the relevant IPA and the ministries responsible for the economy of the 6 countries of the Western Balkans, as well as from the World Bank.

During the panel discussion, AIDA reported on the progress so far on the preparation of the Regional Database of Investment Incentives, which is nearing finalization and final verification. Also, the representative of AIDA commented on the progress of the preparation of the outreach campaign that will be organized in Spain, in the tourism sector, as well as on the preparation of promotional materials for regional investments.

In conclusion, the representatives of each state agreed on mutual commitment for continuous cooperation, in order to promote and attract investments in the Western Balkans region.
