The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) welcomed in a meeting the representative of the counterpart agency in Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), accompanied by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Albania, HE Anar Huseynov.

The purpose of the meeting was the exchange of practices and knowledge, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for the sustainable growth of economic cooperation between the two countries. Ms. Laura Saro, Executive Director of AIDA presented the agency’s role, investment opportunities in Albania, current investment promotion initiatives, achievements and ongoing projects. Representatives of AZPROMO gave a presentation about their agency and the practices followed by them in the promotion of investments and exports.

The meeting continued with the presentation of investment opportunities in Azerbaijan by AZPROMO for some Albanian companies that were participants in the meeting. The presentation focused on sectors such as Agriculture, Tourism, Real Estate and Renewable Energy.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Albania, HE Anar Huseynov, expressed the possibility of holding B2B meetings in Azerbaijan and Ms. Saro expressed the maximum readiness of AIDA to co-organize this event.
