Business Forum Albania – Saudi Arabia​

On March 1, 2024, the Albania – Saudi Arabia Business Forum took place, to deepen cooperation, attract foreign investments to Albania, and create a favorable business climate.

Part of the speaking panel were representatives of the delegation of the Saudi Arabian side and representatives of the Albanian Government, the Minister of Economy, Innovation and Culture Mr. Blendi Gonxhja, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Anila Denaj, Executive Director of AIDA, Mrs. Laura Plaku (Saro), President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Ines Muçostepa and representatives of the businesses of the two countries.

In her speech, the Executive Director of AIDA, Ms. Laura Plaku (Saro), greeted the partners from Saudi Arabia and the attendees, emphasizing that this forum is a starting point of a long collaborative journey and reflects the support and attention of the Albanian Government to foreign and domestic investors.

Mrs. Saro emphasized the reasons why it is necessary to invest in Albania, the opportunities offered by the potential sectors of our country, presented concrete investment projects in several sectors, as well as expressed the help and readiness of AIDA, in every investment step.

The forum concluded with B2B meetings between Saudi Arabian and Albanian businesses, creating the first contact for the launch of mutual partnerships.
