The III Summit of the Albanian Diaspora

On November 23, 2023, as part of the activities of the 3rd Summit of the Albanian Diaspora, the panel “Albanian Diaspora for Sustainable Development” was held. The Executive Director of AIDA, Ms. Laura Plaku (Saro).

The forum was opened by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Mr. Ervin Mete and the Minister of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj.

The floor was also taken by Ms. Laura Plaku, where she greeted those present at the activity and spoke about the initiatives that AIDA has undertaken for the inclusion of the Albanian diaspora as an essential factor in the presentation of our country to foreign investors, the connecting bridges between the diaspora and the development of priority sectors in Albania, as well as the strategies that AIDA undertakes on how to develop these connecting bridges, emphasizing the support of the Albanian ambassadors.

Ms. The elder invited all diaspora entrepreneurs to turn to AIDA as a unique one-stop-shop window, for any request for entering the Albanian market or various support mechanisms.
