FDI in Albania set a new record for 2023
Foreign Direct Investments in Albania have reached the highest inflow value in 2023, surpassing the record set last year.
The flow of FDI for 2023 reached the value of nearly 1.5 billion euros, increasing by 9%, compared to the previous year.
This inflow is led by the Netherlands, which accounts for 20% of the total flow, followed by Italy with 14% and Turkey with 12%.
The sectors with the highest contribution are Real Estate Activities with 22%, Extractive Industry with 18% and Financial and Insurance Activities with 16%.
