Today, the “Global Energy Insights: Albania Investments & Market Trends” forum took place

Today, the “Global Energy Insights: Albania Investments & Market Trends” forum took place with the cooperation of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) and the Albanian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATTSO).

The Executive Director of AIDA, Mrs. Laura Saro and Mr. Bilal Kara, Chairman of the Board of ATTSO, made the welcoming remarks of the event. Mrs. Saro also held a presentation on the investment opportunities in Albania and the role of AIDA in this process, focusing on the favorable business climate and the facilities offered for foreign investments in our country.

The panel was followed by the presentations of Mr. Besjan Kadiu, Director of Industry and Energy Development Policies and Strategies MIE, Mr. Gledis Kalemi, Head of Tariff and Price Structure Unit ERE, Mr. Adrist Stërmasi, lecturer at UPT, Mrs. Admira Mlika from BKT and Mr. Ilija Nasov.

The common denominator of the event was the energy sector and the respective legislation regarding investments, energy efficiency, workforce in the sector as well as the financing of various projects in renewable energy, concluding with networking of the attendees.

In the framework of inter-institutional cooperation with chambers of commerce, AIDA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with ATTSO, as a further step towards strengthening bilateral economic relations.
