“Women, Business and the Law 2023” report of the World Bank

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) introduces you to annual report of the World Bank “Women, Business and the Law 2023”, that analyzes the laws and regulations that affect women’s economic opportunities in 190 economies.

The report identifies barriers to women’s economic participation and encourages reform of discriminatory laws.

According to the report, Albania has achieved an average score (WBL score) of 91.3, ranking 38th out of 190 economies, leaving some of the countries in the region behind.
